Brass Band Miniatures

Doug Gruehn, one of our members, makes 54mm toy
soldiers out of tin (drinking-safe solder…not
lead!!). He even made our whole band in miniature, which are
offered for sale at our concerts.

The figures in formal black go for $15 each at our
performances (percussionists, with their extra baggage, are $18).
All proceeds
from these sales go directly to our band to help cover operating
expenses.
These figures can be customized to some extent. When
ordering, you may specify sex, horn type and color, and figure type.
There are two hair styles for females; French braid and a paige. There
are three types of males: clean shaven, bushy hair w/mustache, and
shorter hair with mustache.

Other bands, mostly military, are also available
for purchase. These figures, due to extra detail (and the amount of
tin used , as in the Danish guard band in winter dress -- they are
some heavy dudes!), are priced a bit higher. Since these are one of a
kind items, the time between ordering and delivery may be lengthy.
Part of the profits from these bands will also go to the Milwaukee
Festival Brass.
